The Safety Representative role is responsible for safety and compliance matters for operations across a designated region in a safety first culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Conducting safety compliance field audits and communicating findings to area management. Delivering safety training to area operations personnel in accordance with CFR 1910 Observing and mentoring company operations personnel in safe work planning and practices. Leading and managing tailgate safety meetings and area safety meetings. Performing investigations of incidents and drafting corrective actions. Participating in company safety and environmental policy and procedure development. Attending customer safety functions and acting as the company safety representative for a multi-area basis. Assessing company compliance with customer safety requirements and creating remedial plans to address deficiencies.
